Creamy Butter Bars
Use your Kefir soft cheese for this delicious and sugar-free treat. The bars and icing are baked together making this a simple make-ahead dessert, and perfect for a picnic or get-together.

- 9"X13" baking pan
- Food processor (helpful)
- hand mixer or immersion blender
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 pkg sugar free cake mix Pillsbury yellow or chocolate
- 3 large eggs
- 8 oz. Kefir soft cheese or cream cheese
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups sugar substitute ground to powder Splenda or similar processed to powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease one 9x13 inch cake pan.
- Melt butter and combine with cake mix and 1 egg. Press into prepared pan.
- Beat together cream cheese, vanilla extract, sugar and remaining 2 eggs for 3 minutes or until very smooth. Spread over the top of the cake mixture.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes and until browned on top.
- Cool at least 1 hour before slicing. Enjoy!
